6-3-26- Banana Ball INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Party Animals will face the Loco Beach Coconuts in a Banana Ball doubleheader this weekend at American Family Field in Milwaukee. The games are part of the Banana Ball World Tour and will be broadcast live on The CW network. The CW is expanding its partnership with the league, bringing Banana Ball games to viewers nationwide. The 2026 Banana Ball Championship League features six teams and the tour will visit 75 stadiums across 45 states this season. The league’s six teams include the Party Animals, Bananas, Texas Tailgaters, Firefighters, Indianapolis Clowns and Loco Beach Coconuts. This season marks the first year of the Banana Ball World Tour, which spans venues across the United States. The Party Animals and Loco Beach Coconuts are scheduled to meet Saturday, June 6, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. They will play again Sunday, June 7, from 3:30 to 6 p.m., both at American Family Field. Mike Vavasis, head coach of the Party Animals, said the tour has been an unforgettable experience. “It’s been unbelievable. It’s a dream come true for a lot of us being able to travel, perform and put on these games in front of fans in all these different locations,” he said. “It’s been a dream come true, and I know we’re all having a blast so far.” Vavasis described Banana Ball as a fan-focused version of baseball designed for entertainment. “It’s baseball with a twist,” he said. “We base everything around fan excitement and entertainment. When it comes to the game, we have some of the best athletes in the world, but we also like to have fun. We do dances, and our rules are different. If you hit a foul ball and a fan catches it, you’re out. It’s a game geared toward the fans, by the fans.” Looking ahead to the matchup with the Loco Beach Coconuts, Vavasis expects a high-energy series. “Don’t take your eyes off the screen, because you’ll miss something,” he said. “When we play the Coconuts, it’s high energy on both sides. Both teams bring party vibes. Expect a really good game because both are very competitive.” Vavasis also reflected on the league’s growth since its early days in 2021. “It’s truly something special,” he said. “When I started in ‘21, it was just us and the Bananas. We knew we were making an impact, but we didn’t know to what extent. Now seeing how the league has grown, and how receptive kids are to it, it’s incredible.” He added that bringing joy to fans has been the most rewarding part of the experience. “It’s been a blessing to bring that joy to the youth and to families around the world,” he said. Specific surprise guests or special appearances at the Milwaukee games have not been announced, as those details are typically kept confidential until game time. Following the Milwaukee doubleheader, the Party Animals are scheduled to face the Texas Tailgaters on Saturday, June 20, from 8 to 10 p.m. at First Horizon Park in Nashville, Tennessee.
