One person is dead following a crash Wednesday morning on northbound U.S. Highway 101 in Santa Rosa, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash, involving a big rig and several other vehicles, was reported shortly before 8 a.m. near the State Highway 12 interchange. The collision pr ompted the closure of all northbound lanes of Highway 101, according to the CHP. The lanes have since reopened. A Sig-alert was issued shortly after 8 a.m. as emergency crews responded to the scene and investigated the crash. No additional information was immediately available.
