COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police says someone was taken into custody after a foot pursuit that began at the Walmart located on Garners Ferry Road. Early on Wednesday, June 3, investigators identified a person who the Columbia Police Department says was wanted. When officers attempted to ma ke contact with him, he fled on foot through the Walmart parking lot which investigators say prompted a pursuit. A second individual involved in the incident was also taken into custody. The primary suspect, Qu’mond Seawright was wanted on multiple charges stemming from a shooting incident, including firearm-related offenses.
