BxB Unplugged series to bring music and makers to Baltimore’s waterfront neighborhoods
Jun 03, 2026
Residents and visitors of Baltimore’s waterfront neighborhoods will have even more opportunities to enjoy music this year.
Building upon the success of its Baltimore by Baltimore series, the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore is adding a new weekly live music and maker series called BxB U
nplugged.
The Baltimore by Baltimore festival series launched in 2022, with festivities at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater. (The next event in that series will be “Ladies on Deck,” showcasing Baltimore’s women DJs, curators, and cultural leaders, on June 6 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
Meanwhile, BxB Unplugged will take the party to various waterfront neighborhoods, starting in June at Bond Street Wharf, located at 901 S. Bond St.
June’s events will honor Black Music Month, with performers including jazz vibraphonist Warren Wolf on June 4; Baltimore School for the Arts students celebrating Black composers on June 11; vocalist and songwriter Eylscia on June 18; and award-winning saxophonist Brent Birckhead on June 25.
All BxB Unplugged events will be free, open to the public, and take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Music will begin at 5 p.m.
Like the Baltimore by Baltimore series it is derived from, BxB Unplugged will also feature local makers and vendors, including Greedy Reads, Kelley Gardens, El Suprimo Records, Soul Smoked, Taharka Brothers, and Bar by Keystone.
Keystone Korner Jazz is producing the inaugural BxB Unplugged series.
The kickoff event on June 4 will be one of the programs in Waterfront Week, a 10-day celebration of Baltimore’s waterfront with live music, wellness programming, cultural events, paddling in the water, and family-friendly activities.
The Unplugged concert series will continue through the summer. Upcoming programs include:
July: “Party on the Pier,” produced by Sound Garden, at Broadway Pier
August: “Groove House Jams,” with John Tyler, at Point Park
September: “Soul at Sunset,” with Black Assets, at Rash Field Park
