Unofficial results have Todd Johnson winning the race for mayor of Pierre in Tuesday’s (June 2, 2026) election. Johnson received 2048 votes to incumbent Steve Harding’s 1750. In the election for Pierre School Board, Madisyn Neibauer wins that seat having received 2029 votes. Rochelle Kenzy had 9 54 votes and George Seamon had 528 votes. In the Hughes County Commission race, the three incumbents were the top vote getters to each be reelected. Rob Fines had the most votes with 2332, followed by Connie Hohn with 2237 and Bill Abernathy with 2109 votes. Pat Steber received 1261 votes. ...read more read less
