Here’s a roundup of happenings for Thursday, June 4, to Wednesday, June 10.  *Starred events are free to attend, al though they may include ticketed components or a suggested donation. Salem night market Friday, June 5: The Salem Center will be open late for a special nighttime vendor market. The market is being advertised as “Salem’s first-ever vendor night market.” It will run from 8 – 11 p.m. There will be vendors, music, food and drinks. It is open to all ages. Admission is $11.99. The mall is at 401 Center St. N.E. First Friday Art Walk *Friday, June 5: The First Friday Art Walk of the summer will bring live music and artist meet-and-greets to downtown galleries, studios and stores. It will include events at Clay Kiln Collective, Elsinore Framing Fine Art Gallery, The Arbor and more. A map for the self-guided walk can be found here. The walk is from 5 – 8 p.m. It is free to attend.  Doggie Dash Saturday, June 6: The Oregon Humane Society is having a fun run at Riverfront Park for dogs and their owners. Participants – whether two-legged or four-legged – can walk or run a flat, 1k loop around the park, or a 5k loop through Minto-Brown Island Park. People can register online for $25 and raise donations through individual fundraising pages. After the run or walk, dashers can grab a drink with a free drink ticket and get a bite to eat at a food truck. People can also take photos in the photo booth, enter their pups into contests, listen to live music and enjoy family-friendly activities. The event runs from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., with the run starting at 9 a.m. Riverfront Park is at 200 Water St. N.E. Bush House tour Sunday, June 7: During an exclusive 90-minute tour of the Bush House Museum, a dozen lucky guests will have more time for hands-on learning. “Let’s snoop in some closets, whisper some rumors and might there be a scandal? And how does that contraption work?” an event posting read. The tour, led by Robin Cunningham, will run from 1:30 – 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 for the general public and $18 for Salem Art Association members. They can be purchased online until Friday afternoon. The museum is at 600 Mission St. S.E.  Yoga in Riverfront Park  *Wednesday, June 10: Yoga + Beer will host a 60-minute yoga class at the Riverfront Park Amphitheater. The class, led by Mikki Trowbridge, will be open to all levels. A $5 – $10 donation is recommended to join, but not required. The class will be from 6 – 7 p.m. The park is at 200 Water St. N.E.
