“We are incredibly proud to see ‘Movies on the Mall’ evolve into a signature tradition that invites everyone to experience the magic of cinema in America’s most historic square mile,” said Kathryn Ott Lovell, President and CEO, Philadelphia Visitor Center. “This year, we are expanding our lineup to offer even more opportunities for the community to gather under the stars and connect with the stories that define our culture, all with the breathtaking view of Independence Hall. Our continued collaboration with the National Park Service, the Independence Historical Trust, and Liberty Garden allows us to provide a free, family-friendly experience that showcases the very best of Philadelphia’s vibrant spirit.”
Organizers said screens will be set up outside the Independence Visitor Center (599 Market Street, Philadelphia), facing 5th Street between Market and Arch Streets.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks. The event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is encouraged.
Walkups are also welcome, according to organizers. Register for tickets here.
