OPPD, Sandhills solar deal could generate enough power for 50,000 Nebraska homes

That comes from a power purchase agreement with Nebraska-based Sandhills Energy for a new 250-megawatt facility in Burt County. OPPD is also transferring a York County plant to Sandhills.
