CHARLOTTE, N.C. – North Carolina lawmakers want local leaders to answer questions about a gruesome case of child abuse in Charlotte. Six-year-old Dominique Moody died in December, after being found living in feces and urine at a home in east Charlotte. She was also severely under-weight. The St ate House Oversight Committee is calling on several people to testify about what happened, including CMPD Chief Estella Patterson, Sheriff Garry McFadden and Mecklenburg County Manager Mike Bryant.
