Netherlands announces World Cup roster ahead of games in Texas

The Netherlands National Team announced its 2026 FIFA World Cup roster, featuring stars from the biggest clubs in Europe, including the English Premier League.
The roster includes some of the biggest stars in global soccer, like Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, Ryan Gravenberch, and Virgil Van Dijk, Bar
celona’s Frankie de Jong, and Tottenham’s Mickey Van de Ven.
EPL champion Arsenal’s Jurriën Timber was also called up despite being injured for several weeks.
The Netherlands kicks off group play against Japan on June 14 at ‘Dallas’ Stadium, which is what ATT Stadium will be called during the tournament to comply with FIFA rules. They also play Sweden in Houston on June 20 and wrap up Group F play against Tunisia.
OTHER ROSTER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Two current FC Dallas players and four former FC Dallas Academy players are headed to the World Cup as well. The former academy players are all on the USMNT roster; the current players are Croatian and Haitian national team players, respectively.
The English and Swedish national teams also announced their rosters ahead of games in Texas; they include Barcelona and Liverpool players as well.
Argentina and Mexico are expected to reveal their World Cup rosters in the coming days before FIFA finalizes rosters on June 2.
The World Cup begins Thursday, June 11.
