After more than three decades, Kelly King, a legendary head football coach at Milpitas High School, returned his whistle. King kicked off his run as the Trojans head coach in 1990. 36 years later, when the school year ends in June, the 62-year-old will retire as math teacher and coach. A gradu ate of Milpitas High, King won more than 240 career games, four central coast section championships, two CIF regional titles and two state championships.
