On Wednesday, jurors listening to testimony from Maya Millete’s eldest sister, Maricris Drouaillet, listened to a 911 call she made about Maya’s disappearance, during which Drouaillet to the dispatcher that “‘my brother-in-law has a tendency to be violent.”
Court was scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. on Thursday but the parties began taking their seats closer to 9:30, as has been the case all three days of the trial so far. Testimony is only expected through the noon break, after which the trial will go dark till 9 a.m. on Monday.
