Crews were called to a major roadway in New Jersey on Monday to clean up after someone illegally dumped trash, according to officials in the city of Trenton. Trenton’s Public Works and Police departments were called out to Route 29 on May 18 to clean up the road, officials said. One of the lanes was shut down as crews worked. In photos shared by the city, a large pile of trash bags, furniture and other items can be seen on the roadway’s shoulder and into the grassy area. Officials posted to social media and reminded the community that dumping trash is illegal.
