CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Several families are looking for a new place to live after a massive apartment fire in southwest Charlotte. It broke out just before 5:00 Sunday afternoon on Queen Harbor Road. Charlotte Fire assisted the Steele Creek Fire Department on the scene as crews battled heavy fire co nditions. The apartment complex is along Lake Wylie, so a fire boat was also brought in.
