Police are investigating after they said a woman’s dog bit a shopper multiple times at a PetSmart in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the incident happened Around 12:30 p.m. on May 3, 2026, at the PetSmart located at 707 North Krocks Road in Lower Macung ie Township, Lehigh County. Police said the victim was in the dog collar aisle when a woman entered with her dog, which then bit the victim on the right leg. The victim pushed the dog back, which resulted in the dog biting their right thumb. Employees of PetSmart approached and offered help that’s when the woman and the dog left the store, according to police. Police said the victim went to a nearby hospital for treatment and received rabies medication due to the unknown vaccination status of the involved dog.
