FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — No arrests have been made after an older woman involved in a battery incident at a Tim Hortons died from her injuries. The altercation reportedly happened around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday. The Fort Wayne Police Department says its officers were dispatched to the Tim Hortons, 3975 Ice Way, after receiving a report of an “altercation involving a reported battery.” The injured woman, who has not been identified, was unresponsive when officers arrived. Medics immediately started life-saving measures, though the woman later died after arriving at a hospital. Police have not said if there are any suspects, but said detectives are reviewing security camera footage and have interviewed witnesses.
