Narcotics investigation leads to 2 arrests in Columbus, 1 bonded out for $150,000

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) — Two people were arrested in Columbus on Tuesday after police found 50 grams of cocaine, the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office told News 8 Monday.
Police say a search warrant was executed in the 1300 block of Woodleigh Court, which is right off Champion Drive, aft
er a long-term investigation into narcotics activity.
Police found 50 grams of cocaine, scales and packaging material, $1,800, and a loaded firearm.

26-year-old Hannah Smiley and 31-year-old Justin Dampier, both of Columbus, were arrested for dealing cocaine, obstruction of justice, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia.
Smiley was released after posting bond, which was set at $150,000, and Dampier still remains in custody.
