Golf with Us looks to teach kids for cheap this summer INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — “Golf with Us,” a program to teach more kids how to golf, is back this summer. It’s a partnership between Bank of America and the nonprofit ‘Youth on Course.” The program gives a free year-long membership to the first 150,000 kids who sign up. Once a member, kids 6 -18 can get access to $5 rounds of golf at 34 courses across Indiana and more than 2,000 in the U.S. RELATED: 2026 GR8 Golf Card Bank of America Indianapolis President Andy Crask says the sport can be expensive, and they’re looking to grow the game by reducing the financial burden. “We believe that sport is a proven pathway to instilling life skills,” Crask said. “You talk about discipline and confidence, and now they’re on a golf course, patience and perseverance, those are things that we want all Hoosiers, especially the young people, to really learn because those are the things that they’ll take with them into the classroom and into their careers.” The membership also includes free lessons from a PGA Pro, simulator rentals, and more. “After you play your first qualifying session, you unlock (other) opportunities,” Crask said. “There’s a whole ecosystem around this discounted round of golf that’s designed to get new players in the game and to keep them in it.” Heading into year two of the program, Crask is looking forward to growing it even more. “The momentum is real,” Crask said. “Coming in this year, trying to get as many kids involved … in the sport. It’s an inexpensive, safe way for families to keep their kids entertained.” Last year, about 450 kids in the Indianapolis area played 385 rounds of golf through the program, according to Bank of America. Click here to sign up for “Golf with Us.” The deadline to join is June 15. ...read more read less
