COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– SC emergency leaders are prepping for hurricane season. Friday, May 15, Governor McMaster held a briefing to discuss South Carolina’s preparation for the 2026 season. The briefing took place at the Dorchester County Emergency Operations Center in Summerville. McMaster w as joined by state and local emergency management officials.
