A second suspect has been charged with murder in connection to a deadly shooting in Uptown Charlotte in November 2025. Vaquan Davis, 27, has been charged with murder and discharging a firearm into occupied property. This is the second arrest made for the shooting death of Tanarus Henry. He was sho t and killed on the night of Friday, Nov. 15 near the intersection of 7th Street and Davidson Street in Uptown. The other suspect, Tychius Dobie, was arrested in April. Court records show that Dobie and Davis are brothers.
