KXAN Exclusive: Inside a drop shaft below I35

Exclusive look into the new drop shafts along I-35. These big holes are designed to prevent flooding along the I-35 corridor in downtown, after the expansion project is complete and the main lanes of I-35 are lowered. Soon, TxDOT will use a boring machine to create tunnels for flood mitigation.
