(KRON) -- The California Highway Patrol Napa area office is investigating a fatal crash Tuesday afternoon on Highway 12 that shut down traffic. CHP Napa said the incident, involving major injuries, occurred around 1:52 p.m. Due to the crash, Highway 12, eastbound east of Kelly Road, was closed, an d drivers were initially advised to take Highway 29 to American Canyon Road to access Interstate 80.
