Police are investigating a shooting involving two vehicles that left two people hurt in East Palo Alto on Saturday. Authorities said officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation reporting gunfire in the 2300 block of Clarke Avenue at around 3:40 p.m. Officers later received additional reports o f a shooting involving two vehicles in the area. During the initial response to the incident, police said they also received a separate call regarding a victim suffering from a gunshot wound at a residential address in East Palo Alto. Officers went to the area and confirmed the victim was connected to the shooting. Police confirmed the shooting had occurred, and said both victims were listed in stable condition.
