BRISBANE, Calif. (KRON)-- A young sea lion was found wandering near Sierra Point Parkway on Friday. According to the Brisbane Police Department (BPD), an off-duty officer spotted the sea lion on the way to work after watching it try to cross the roadway, heading toward Highway 101. The officer help ed slow traffic and called in for help. BPD and the Marine Mammal Center responded and worked to safely keep the animal away from traffic. Rescued SF sea lion pup ‘Irving’ improving in Sausalito rehabilitation The rescue team said they had been attempting to locate the young sea lion for several days after it was seen around the shoreline and near Coyote Point.
