Two people were charged after investigators confiscated a massive amount of drugs and guns in Northeast Philadelphia, including an anti-materiel rifle that’s used by militaries to shoot down helicopters.
Yandra Kamberaj, 26, and Theodore Manko, 45, were both arrested and charged for their alleg
ed roles in a major drug distribution and gun manufacturing operation based in the city’s Somerton neighborhood, the District Attorney’s Office announced on Friday, May 8.

The arrests were part of a four-month investigation involving Pennsylvania State Police, Philadelphia Police, and the District Attorney’s Office’s Dangerous Drug Offender Unit. After developing information on a cocaine and MDMA trafficking organization, Pennsylvania state police searched through two homes on the 400 block of Tomlinson Road and the 1800 block of Gregg Street in Northeast Philadelphia on Thursday, May 7, 2026, officials said.
Investigators said they recovered approximately $1.5 million in drugs during the searches, including 16 ounces of promethazine, 4100 MDMA pills, 2500 grams of cocaine, 2550 grams of ketamine, 16 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 20 pounds of THC gummies, 70 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Investigators also said they recovered 24 firearms, more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition, more than 200 magazines, two 3D printers that were used to manufacture weapons, a tactical vest, an ammunition bag and more than $19,000 in cash.
“I don’t think it’s any exaggeration to say that the amount that could’ve been done with 20 to 25,000 rounds of ammunition and these weapons is beyond measure,” District Attorney Larry Krasner said during a Friday morning press conference.
The weapons included an AK-47, multiple AR-15 rifles, a desert eagle, an assault-style shotgun and a 50-caliber rifle.
“This is something that is used by militaries for armored vehicles, shooting down helicopters, shooting through concrete or brick walls, exploding ordnance that they don’t want to approach to diffuse and obviously something that has no place within the city where bullets go through drywall and it would be no match for something like this,” Assistant District Attorney Steve Girman said.
Manko and Kamberaj are both charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, conspiracy, possession of an instrument of crime and other related offenses.
Online court documents do not list the names of attorneys who could speak on behalf of the suspects.
While Manko and Kamberaj are both in custody, officials said the investigation into the drugs and weapons organization is ongoing.
