A man is dead and a suspect is in custody after a shooting in Antioch on Tuesday morning, according to police. Officers responded at 9:14 a.m. to the shooting reported in the 5000 block of Percheron Way and arrived to find the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, Antioch police said. The suspect was located nearby and taken into custody after allegedly breaking into a residence unrelated to the shooting, and investigators recovered the weapon allegedly used in the killing, according to police.
