19-year-old man arrested for April homicide on northeast side of Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police have arrested a 19-year-old man for his role in an April 15 homicide on the northeast side of the city.
Terrence Francois was booked into the Marion County jail early Tue
sday on a preliminary charge of murder.
News 8 previously reported that Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers, around 7:30 p.m. April 15, were dispatched to a “person shot” incident at a home in the 5900 block of Radnor Road.
That’s in the Devington area near East 46th Street and Arlington Avenue.
There, they found 22-year-old Robert Golliday dead from a gunshot wound.
As the investigation began, police identified Francois as a suspect.
Sometime Monday evening, officers found Francois at a north side apartment complex, who initially tried to flee when approached by police.
Detectives “outright arrested” Francois for murder, IMPD says. A court hearing for Francois has not been set yet.
