(BCN) -- An 89-year-old man who was hit by a car last week in South San Francisco died from his injuries, police said Monday. The collision was reported about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Chestnut Avenue and Mission Road. The pedestrian, Fidel Bautista of South San Francisco, had majo r injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he later died, South San Francisco police said.
