One person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting at post-prom party in Indianapolis on Sunday morning, police said. Officers responded to a shooting on the 4000 block of North Park Avenue, near North College Avenue and 38th Street, at around 3:30 a.m. Upon arrival, police found o ne victim suffering from gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police subsequently responded to Methodist Hospital after receiving a report that two additional people had walked in with gunshot wounds. Investigators believe those injuries were also connected to the shooting at the party. In total, three people were shot, according to NBC affiliate 13News. One victim remains in critical condition and another sustained noncritical injuries, and a fourth person was hurt while trying to leave the home, the news station reported. The shooting occurred at a short-term rental home where a large number of teens had gathered for the post-prom house gathering, according to 13News.
