A woman was shot and killed in Vallejo on Friday, according to the Vallejo Police Department. Police were notified that the victim was dropped off at a hospital in critical condition suffering from at least one gunshot wound by someone who then left the scene at about 5:35 p.m. She was given e mergency medical care but died from her injuries, police said. Her identity was withheld until the Solano County Sheriff-Coroner can notify the victim’s next of kin. Her death marks the third homicide in Vallejo in 2026, according to police.
