CHAVES COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) — The Chaves County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene of a fatal crash. According to the sheriff's office, the crash was located on 380 East, mile 168. Both eastbound and westbound lanes were closed. The public is asked to avoid the area at this time.
