CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A gruesome case of child abuse in Charlotte has a state lawmakers taking action to prevent something like it from happening again. Six-year-old Dominique Moody died in December, after being found living in feces and urine at a home in east Charlotte. She was also severely unde r-weight. Three women are charged in the case. Now, Mecklenburg representative Carla Cunningham has introduced the Dominique Moody Safety Act.
