Downtown Disney restaurant closing after more than 20 years

(KTLA) -- Another longtime business in Downtown Disney is preparing to close.
Jamba, the smoothie and juice bar that has operated in the outdoor shopping district for 23 years, will shutter to make way for Bopo Go!, Disneyland officials confirmed to KTLA.
Jamba will close on July 6, according to t
he Orange County Register.
Bopomofo, the chain behind Bopo Go!, said on Instagram that construction is expected to begin this summer. The company also operates locations in Irvine, Hollywood, Cerritos, San Gabriel and San Diego.
Jamba opened in Downtown Disney in 2003, two years after the shopping district debuted, Mickey Visit reported. The store was remodeled in 2020, adopting the shortened “Jamba” name and updated branding.

Disneyland first announced plans in 2025 to bring Bopo Go! to Downtown Disney, but did not provide an opening date.
Created by Eric Wang and Philip Wang, co-owners of Bopomofo Café, Bopo Go! will serve authentic boba/bubble tea and imported snacks and candies.
