RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A man is dead after he was found shot in a vehicle just after midnight in Richmond's Southside. At around 12:06 a.m., officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 700 block of Richmond Highway for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
