Westbound I-30 was shut down near Fate after an 18-wheeler was ‘jack-knifed’ in an accident on Wednesday afternoon. Traffic could be seen stalled for about 5 miles in both directions on Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) cameras. Eastbound traffic was still open, but was facing simila r delays to the closed westbound lanes. The number of injuries is unknown and still under investigation. The ‘jack-knifed’ semi is one of three that crashed along I-30, according to NBC 5’s Skyranger.
