Family medicine practitioner Dr. Timothy Duerler is launching a new “concierge” medical practice in Park City, in partnership with Ovation Private Health. The practice, which will include an annual membership fee, is meant to introduce a “sophisticated, membership-based care model desig ned to address regional challenges regarding physician availability and wait times,” according to a press release. The practice said that it will prioritize long-term longevity, proactive prevention and “seamless physician-patient connectivity” in order to “redefine the local healthcare experience through a more personalized approach.” Ovation Private Health is part of the Castle Connolly Private Health Partners network, an organization that said it seeks to optimize healthcare through a concierge model. Through this model, Dr. Duerler can limit the number of member patients, which the practice said will allow for deeper relationships, extended visits and highly personalized care plans tailored to an individual’s health goals. Patients are connected to a network of physicians nationally and in Europe, which, the practice said, may appeal to Park City residents who have second homes elsewhere and travel frequently. “When I moved to Park City, I instantly noticed the tremendous value locals place on their healthy, active lifestyles, and longevity is perfectly aligned with how I practice medicine,” said Dr. Duerler. “The future of medicine isn’t limited to treating illness; it’s extending performance, purpose and vitality.” The practice will include the following benefits: Unlimited one-on-one health coaching and lifestyle guidance Personalized health optimization A focus on longevity, metabolic and functional medicine A Member Advisor to help patients navigate healthcare “The Ovation Private Health model allows me the freedom and flexibility to practice medicine in the way it was intended. I value my personalized relationship with patients, the greater connectivity they enjoy, and the ability to spend more quality time with them to develop a long-term, preventive approach to maximizing their healthy years,” Dr. Duerler explained. “Medicine should help people thrive decades longer, not just survive year to year.” Dr. Duerler’s clinic will open in summer in Kimball Junction at 6546 N. Landmark Drive, Suite C. He is accepting new patients whom he can treat in a temporary location next door, at their homes or virtually while the permanent office is under construction. Dr. Duerler also owns Utah’s two Smart Fit Method locations in Park City and Millcreek.
