INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A woman shot Tuesday night on the northeast side of Indianapolis has died of her injuries, police said. At 8:46 p.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 5500 block of East 41st Street on the report of a person shot. That’s near North Ar lington Avenue. Officers arrived to find a woman shot inside a home. She was quickly taken to the hospital, but died early Wednesday morning. Two people at the scene were taken for questioning and later released upon consultation with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
