CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A mother and son are hurt and a 44-year-old man is facing charges after a Friday night domestic shooting in Chesterfield County. Just before 10 p.m. on Friday, April 24, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department were called to the 6600 block of Daleb rook Drive for report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an unidentified man who had been shot. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition -- however, as of the time of reporting, he is expected to recover. A woman, who police said is the mother of the other victim, was also hurt during this incident. Police did not specify the nature of her injuries, but said they were non-life-threatening. White into custody at the scene of the shooting. White, who is known to both victims, has been hit with several charges, including: Aggravated malicious wounding Shooting into an occupied dwelling Domestic assault Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony Police said that, as the investigation into this incident continues, it's possible White may face more charges. 18-month-old dies after being hit by vehicle in Louisa driveway in apparent ‘tragic accident’ No additional information is available as of the time of reporting.
