Work along one of San Francisco’s busiest traffic corridors wrapped up early Monday after a weekend of lane closures and traffic. Caltrans reopened all lanes of 19th Avenue, also known Highway 1, around 1:30 a.m. or about three and a half hours ahead of the scheduled 5 a.m. reopening. Crews worked through the night and over the weekend to complete repaving work after closing two of the three northbound lanes Friday between Sloat Boulevard and Lincoln Way near Golden Gate Park. The project is not finished, however. Caltrans said two more weekends of closures are planned as part of the ongoing 19th Avenue rehabilitation effort.
