Jury selection starts in Musk vs OpenAI legal battle

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Jury selection is slated to begin Monday in Oakland for the legal battle between tech mogul Elon Musk and artificial intelligence company OpenAI.
Musk claims OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and co-founder Greg Brockman betrayed the company's original non-profit mission by prioritizing
profits through commercial relationships.

Musk was a co-founder of OpenAI in 2015. OpenAI wants the judge to dismiss the case.
On Saturday, Musk dropped fraud claims against the company. The Tesla CEO, the world's richest man with an estimated fortune of $713 billion, is still seeking $150 billion in damages.
Altman's net worth is estimated to be around $2 billion, as of January.
The trial begins April 27th at the federal courthouse in Oakland.
