An EF-2 tornado touched down in Runaway Bay, Texas, on Saturday, April 25, 2026. At least one person was killed.
Emergency crews worked through the night conducting search-and-rescue operations, clearing debris, and providing medical care. Access has been difficult due to blocked roadways and downed utilities.
