On Friday, about 1,800 people showed up for the fifth annual Earth Day Clean Up, walking the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail surrounding the lake to pick up trash, or hitting the water by kayak, canoe, or paddleboard to fish for litter.
