The weekend is trending dry and comfortable. Another strong cold front may push a wave of heft storms through parts of Indiana Monday night.
FRIDAY EVENING/NIGHT:Scattered rain storms will remain possible through the evening. A few could be gusty east of Indianapolis. Rain chan
ces will end overnight but clouds clouds look to hold on. Look for lows mainly in the 50s.
SATURDAY:Early day clouds will give way to brighter skies as the day wears on. Highs are going to be in the 70s.
SATURDAY NIGHT:Fair weather is in order but it will be cooler with lows in the low 50s and 40s.
SUNDAY:Partly cloudy skies continue. Look for highs in the low to mid 70s.
7 DAY FORECAST:A potent storm system and cold front is still expected to move through Indiana Monday night. Warm and humid air combined with wind energy aloft could set the stage for some strong to severe storms, with all modes possible. The latest data suggest that parts of Illinois may bear the brunt of the weather, at least initially Monday evening, with a squall line moving into Indiana overnight. If this verifies it would be more of a damaging wind and tornado threat.
Cooler weather will likely build in for a few days during the middle of next week. There are also signs that Saturday morning, May 2nd, could have lows back down into the 30s once again.
