RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– RCSD deputies are investigating a Longcreek Drive homicide that happened Thursday afternoon, says the sheriff’s dept. Police lights Richland County Sheriff’s Department says Thursday, April 23, around 12:30 p.m. deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 1600 block of Longcreek Drive. After deputies arrived to the scene, they found an unresponsive male with gunshot wounds to the upper body area. EMS arrived to the area to render aid. The male was pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene, and the Richland County Coroner’s Office was notified to respond. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
