GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Two people were arrested after an undercover operation at a Goochland County spa, during which authorities said they saw staff "engaged in a lewd act." The Goochland County Sheriff's Office has been actively investigating the Jasmin Spa, located at 1587 Hockett Rd. i n the Manakin-Sabot area, for some time. The morning of Tuesday, April 21, Goochland deputies conducted an undercover operation at the spa. "During the operation, an individual associated with the business engaged in a lewd act," the sheriff's office said. "A previously obtained search warrant was then executed at the location." As a result of the search, deputies arrested 48-year-old Jie Hong Chen of Flushing, New York and charged her with keeping a bawdy place. They also took 62-year-old Huiying Qiu of Lindenhurst, New York into custody after learning that she was wanted out of Henrico County for felony commercial sex trafficking. Chen is currently being held at Pamunkey Regional Jail without bond, while Qiu was released to the Henrico County Police Division. "This remains an ongoing investigation, and detectives are actively working to identify additional individuals observed on the business's surveillance system and other leads," the sheriff's office said.
