Planning for the 2026 World Cup? FIFA is dropping more tickets Wednesday
Apr 21, 2026
New tickets for all 104 matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will drop on Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET, FIFA announced Tuesday.
The matches will be played across Mexico, Canada and the United States from June 11 to July 19.
It was not immediately clear how many tickets would be made available or
how much they would cost.
The new ticket inventory release to the general public comes with exactly 50 days before the tournament begins. According to FIFA, tickets will be available for several categories, including the front-row seat category, depending on the match.
This drop is part of the ongoing “last-minute sales phase” that runs until the end of the tournament. FIFA said in a release that additional tickets will be released on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the release, FIFA reminded fans that their official website is the preferred source for World Cup tickets, and fans should check that site regularly for additional tickets that are made available on an ongoing basis. Additionally, the official resale/exchange marketplace is also available there for eligible ticket holders.
FIFA has been scrutinized throughout the ticketing process, with outrage over transit prices in New Jersey, more expensive ticket packages and glitches in the systems.
