The Summit County Sheriff’s Office has detained a man suspected of causing a domestic disturbance on Bobsled Boulevard in the Bear Hollow neighborhood over the weekend. Sgt. Skyler Talbot with the Sheriff’s Office said the man was taken into custody shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday when h e attempted to return to the Bobsled Boulevard home. He had not yet been formally charged with a crime as of Tuesday afternoon. Deputies started an investigation just after 3 p.m. on Sunday, responding to the Bobsled Boulevard residence because of an alleged domestic disturbance. Based on the information available at the time, deputies believed the man was barricaded alone inside the home. However, they eventually confirmed that he was no longer on the premises. Law enforcement cleared the scene around 9:15 p.m. and continued the investigation, ultimately leading to the man’s arrest on Tuesday morning.
