RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from several special guests with the Richmond Fencing Club on Tuesday to talk about an upcoming national championship. 8News anchors Autumn Childress and Madison Moore were joined by Cyndi Lucente, head coach at Richmond Fencing Club, as well as two high sc hool competitive fencers, Lily Allen and Meet Singh, to discuss the April North American Cup. "The North American Cup is the national championships that will have possibly former and future Olympians competing this weekend, and that will be at the Richmond Convention Center," Lucente said. Fencing fans can head to the convention center, located at 403 N 3rd St, from Friday, April 24 to Monday, April 27 to catch several different competitions.
