The Park City Police Department received a report in the middle of April about a man stealing an unspecified amount of beer from a business. The case was logged at 2:57 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, on Snow Creek Drive. The police were told the person was tall, white and appeared to be in his 20s. He was wearing a baseball cap and a hooded sweatshirt, the police were told. The police logged the case as a suspected theft. Other incidents reported to the Police Department recently included: On Sunday, April 19, at 2:48 a.m., a carbon monoxide detector sounded on Little Kate Road. The person was not sure how to proceed, the police indicated. The person’s property is apparently on Holiday Ranch Loop Road. On Thursday, April 16, at 4:44 p.m., the police received a complaint that a driver “almost ran over” a pedestrian on Holiday Ranch Loop Road. On Tuesday, April 14, at 3:50 p.m., someone on Kearns Boulevard reported hearing “someone yelling or screaming” on Kearns Boulevard. The person who contacted the police was unsure whether it was “bad or good,” according to public police logs. The Police Department described the circumstances as suspicious. The police at 2:31 a.m. received information about a car alarm sounding “on and off for the past couple hours” on Homestake Road. The alarm was sounding at the time of the call, the police were told. The department described the circumstances as suspicious. A man was reported to be “playing a guitar really loud” on Woodside Avenue. The police logged the case as suspected disturbing the peace. On Monday, April 13, at 1:22 p.m., a truck, described as part of a construction project, reportedly backed into a vehicle in the area of Bonanza Drive and Kearns Boulevard. The police were told nobody was injured and that the vehicles were not blocking the road. Someone contacted the police at 8:59 a.m. to report that a moose and a calf were separated along S.R. 224.
