STATESVILLE, N.C. – A man was shot and killed in an alleged home invasion in Statesville, according to a news release. Police responded to a home on East Bell Street around 11:30 a.m. Saturday in regards to a possible home invasion and one person shot. Upon arrival, officers located 24-year-old T revor Roman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics responded to provide aid but Roman was later pronounced dead.
